Do any of you "successful" soundclick producers have any tips you'd like to share with other producers as far as getting sales is concerned? Like what methods of promo have worked for you, etc..

To answer your first question I've been selling a little bit of everything from custom made beats, leases, and exclusives.
To answer your second question I can't speak for any of the other producers, but in my experience to be able to make good money with online sales you've got to :
A. Do your research on marketing ext...
B. Be willing to invest money in your brand/company/music
C. Treat Selling Beats like a regular day job.
Contrary to popular believe selling beats online takes time and work, but if you figure it out there's plenty of money to be made. I could write a book on this subject, as i'm sure so could some of the other members.
Also contrary to popular believe great marketing will only take you but so far. You still have to be able to consistently deliver beats that people want to buy.

Exactly.. Getting your name all over the internet is alot of work and promoting but theres plenty of other forums to join and promote.. build a relationship with some artists nothing is better than word of mouth of they like your work. But make sure you come with FIRE as well!

Yea, most def! Beats gotta be bangin *consistently* and you gotta grind and build relatioships not just network.
