Sound module - Roland SC 88 VL vs Roland SC 88 ST

I would like to know, what are the differences between the two Roland Sound Canvas models? I can find no information on it anywhere.

If it is relevant...I want to connect to my midi keyboard to sound module (w/ midi-midi cable), and sound module to audio interface ... this is for the purpose of recording audio tracks onto my DAW for music production.

What's the difference between VL and ST, and which would be suited to me?

The ST doesn't have a display nor much anything else physical controls wise, and is editable via MIDI only. The VL can be edited directly.
