what do you mean? You are playing a pre set and when you audition the preset it echoes itself?
The preset probably has delay or reverb built into the preset, tweak your preset settings for the sound so it has no delay or reverb. Its probably delay. But those are the 2 obvious answers that would be close to your vague description. Try to explain your questions as good as possible so you can get a good answer.

playing around with presets is a good way to learn how to make sounds from scratch
