How do ya'll switch the song you promote and how long does it take you. For example, my track "Let's Get Drunk" is like #88 in instrumentals and #25 in beats with hooks, but I really don't like the beat representing my overall sound. I've tried placing it 8th in my vip player and promoting other songs, but this beat keeps on rising in the charts. I dont want to retire it, because it is the primary source of traffic to my page, but I wonder how people without repeat customers/fanbase like jj and vybe get new songs to go up in the charts without paid promo.

thats wassup. yeah when I did it I only got like 3,800 first day, but once I got there it kept going up and made it to like Number 2 or something. i remember for bout a week I was at like 24k plays a day

Pretty much just myspace/internet right now but I'm in the process of building a soundproof room so I can start recording more too. I'm the same way man. I've been trying to figure out some new ways to get customers too.

I wouldn't mind recording any genre to be honest. I'd probably prefer recording just vocals but I'd record instruments too. I recorded some opera/classical singer the other day.
