Sonic Zest presents Guzheng Rain for Kontakt [plucked Eastern strings]
This would be perfect for any composer looking to add an Eastern sound to their film or TV soundtrack. The Guzheng is a 21-string instrument originating from Ancient China, with a resonant soundboard constructued from wu tong wood. We recorded the instruments full range with two articulations: (i) softly plucked and (ii) octave tremolos. Octave tremolos are when you play the same note, an octave apart, in quick succession.
