no sh!t, how do you list big boi but not dre? and especially bun.

and im still trying to figure out what lil wayne's appeal is.

He's not too appealing but he can battle rap.

STICK TO THE SUBJECT. F@CK IT, HIPHOP IS DOOMED.

The East is gay.
The South can't rap.
The West is living in the past.
This Mid West Never really got it pop'n.

Happy now?

*dies laffin at FIELD MOB thinkin they can come at NY b4 even bein able to post*

naw lol, but 4 real. a few dudes down south r ok. TIs nice, weezy, jeezy, paul wall but none of them on the level of ppl like ghost, rae, jay, nas, big pun, biggie, big daddy kane n other ppl nice like that. im sry but them talkin bout our slang like "yo b", the south r ****in swagger jaccers, i hear ppl frum the derty usin our slang all the time n ppl like weezy n jeezy bit they style of lloyd banks n other NY punchline rappers. as nice as they r, they r jus NY rappers wit a southern drawl. sry homies, but the south overall aint ****in wit us. get ur strip club money, but dnt try 2 step to NY, it aint worth losin the little careers that u do have 2. stay wit "sick of bein lonely", we'll stay wit "incarcerated scarfaces"
peace

yo first of all im from new york and the new york vs. atl thing is simple new york doesnt like anything dumbed down because we look into the future if hip hop started out soundin like south music it wouldnt still be round because there is no point to it.when i rap stiff like we need to bring new york back i mean what i say.niggas like dipset hurt my ears. listen to a dipset rhyme and analyze it THEY DONT MAKE SENSE.and they from new york just like me but i dont like it cuz its dumbed down and it helps the stereotype of hip hop and the black community.as for the south im likin most of the artist comin from houston cuz they on they grind and they doin it good ,but atl and the party music it has a damn limit. i listen to d4l and dem franchise boyz's albums they're wak .they're wak cuz everysong has the same feel same vibe same tempo range almost the same instruments same synth flipped in a different way.i couldnt enjoy the album if i was just listnin to it those are the type of albums you ONLY play at the club. im startin to feel the vibe of t.i cuz he keepin it real and he knows his limits. ludacris got exposed and fell of his lyrical game quick. and the main problem is that atl is makin the music cuz they like it and people tell them it's hot if we stopped accepting this kind of dumbed down hip hop all lyrics would be on a very natural average state.but its these beefs these lyrics that make you think and stuff like that which makes new york hot or wack in your opinion. but its all in your exeptance if someone says somethin is hot youll try over and over to get that feeling again

Its funny how NY cats always down the south about not having any true emcees but the best out right now is from New Orleans. NY cats are not appealing and they have no charisma. They are boring and most are just tryin to fit in with southern artists. I get tired of NY cats complaining. If they are so good then they should come with something new and better than whats out right now. Even Jay said he is listening to wayne and t.i right now. Who from NY can mess with wayne's flow??

And the South is not even on top like that. How many albums go plat by southern artists? yeah. a couple.

You sound so bitter man...

I Support Good Music regardless of where it comes from.

There are just as many garbage Emcee's from NY as there are The South...and just as many on The West and Midwest at that...

LMAO...why you guys so defensive ? The South has been doing what they do since way before they put the game in a full nelson...and I don't see any likenesses to East Coast music or culture whatsoever. Don't flatter yourself...every region has got their own ways.

Go back and listen to 'Rappers Delight' and tell me what the 'point' of that song was. My point is, in the beginning Hip Hop was just about leaving inhibitions behind and just having fun...and for the most part it is the same idea with music like Crunk.

If the people are enjoying the music and thats what the artists intentions are...why should they change at all ? Maybe you should just listen to something else. Secondly, not everyone listens to rap music for lyrics.

Why do you guys sound so mad about The South being on top right now ? You guys sound like the mad first born child; in an outrage because his newborn brother is getting all the attention.

waynes FLOW is good his lyrics are meaningless i find no entertainment from him

im not mad at all i just defend for the good artists and there probably as much wak emcees in ny as there are in atl but there are more wak PUBLISHED artist in atl than ny and by the way rappers delight did have a point it was pointing out a new era and to me everything should have a point and even if the person is abstract and rappin about nothin it should at least make sense and i think when this whole reign thing is over and hip hop recovers back to the state of all the places having their own good points and all of them are doing music together i think all will be good im just growing with hip hop

becuz they r destroyin wut we created. period

they arent destroyin what we created hip hop is goin through puberty its experimenting the different sounds well see which one it like best when hip hop is at its adult fully grown polished stage

its not about the wak artist in both its WHO GETS OUT y u think its so hard to make it in new york cuz your music is under a magniffyng glass but atl just puts you in the game there its like a record label LIKE ROCAFELLA vs. badboy rocafella had a million horrible rappers that werent publish but badboy published everyone includin the wack ones so rocafella has a good look but bad boy looks bad ya feel

Sorry Ice. I Have To...

Well it seems that someone must have deleted one of my all time favorite arguments...the one where I THOUGHT I put an end to these dumbass comments being posted in defense of stripper music so....lemme repeat myself...

Please name ONE SOUTHERN ARTIST who has dropped a classic album and has become a practical legend during the south's reign over hip hop. Other region's during their reign have done it. Why hasn't Da Souf? Lack of talent perhaps?

Until one of you stripper defending faggots can do so....maybe you'd oughta shut the fukc up and stop confusing NY's hatred with NY's mission to bring back actual artistry into the genre. Mind you there are a few NY emcees talking this "Bring It Home" bullshyt simply because they're not bringing home a substantial paycheck these days. In that case, I agree wih Field Mob in that some nyggas should stop worrying about how the next cat operates....because those nyggas are just talkin' shyt for personal gain instead of the greater good.

Even still I say...only faggots and ig'nant ho ass nyggas defend stripper music. So what Did I OFFEND YOU? Are you gonna e-blast me or just cry like a little bytch now?

P.S. YO SON!!!! Lucky Number Slevin is that joint.

A lot of NY cats are ridiculous.

I think there's a lot of cats in NY that have some superiority complex, like they own hip-hop, they birthed hip-hop, therefore the best hip-hop comes from NY.

Right now, that simply isn't true. In fact, what has NY done recently? How many new artists have come out of NY in the last 5 years and made any kind of impact on the national music scene? I keep hearing every NY cat talk about Papoose and Saigon and a bunch of other cats, but I don't see these rappers really doing anything! They've got all this buildup, and I'm waiting for something to happen. But it doesn't.

NY rap is boring right now. We've heard it all before. The south is the only ones doing anything new and exciting.

The south is running with the ball right now. Period.

As far as Field Mob, I have mixed feelings on them, I think they have a lot of talent, but they're albums have pissed me off so far because they are so inconsistent. They're songs range from great to horrible in a single album.

I think they got a point about what they're saying, but they really don't have the clout to be talking like that in public yet.

Then again, neither does Saigon.

By the way....who the fukc cares about a Field Mob?

All this talk of stripper shyt, and no one's commenting on that Superhead video?

I know I'm not the only one who's seen it.

Boy-O-Boy ! She definitely lived up to her name though...did you see how she had Mr. Marcus squirming and tellin' her to ease up ?!

Usually, Marcus handles his like a champ and doesn't back down from nobody...but umm...I guess she really did have 'the business' !!
