I always felt like he set this trend for faux techno music and somehow it devolved into the incestuous mess it is today. But when he started it was really dope and creative pop music and at the same time "until the end of time" is one of the most memorable true r&b songs of the last decade.
I hope he realizes a lot of fans hope he can set new trends and not follow the same fails other established "r&b" artists have done for the last five years
