Sampling Question

I chop my samples in Recycle, bounce them out and use the exs24 sampler in Logic 9. This works ok but my samples don't line up the way I like: timing is off, not on beat, sample drums are off. For all you Logic 9 heads, what do you do? how do you sample? what techniques do you recommend. I'm really into soul classics and stuff like that. Please let me know how you get down. Thanks. Are you asking about how people work or are you having a problem?

Regarding your problem in logic, are you syncing the tempo?
 
NI Kontakt is the way to go... bouncing and all that is a waste of time. I've used Logic since it was on the PC. I now have Logic Pro 9 (64 bit) and I use Kontakt 4, I'm telling you- it's the fastest method so you can write and not have to fumble with a bunch of steps. Have fun!

I'm having a problem: I guess syncing the tempo is the issue. Say I have a dope sample I want to use, I chop it and import it into the exs24 sampler but it will not line up with my BPM in Logic. Is there a step I'm missing?

You just chop everything in Logic? You using Ultrabeat or the exs24 for your samples?

I was gonna be a smartass and say 'well obviously', but I looked it up real qwik and it doesn't look like there is a way(weird huh?). Do a lil research man..

I am gonna have to agree with decemberdusk and recommend Kontakt or another sampler.
