Sampling a CD into the ASR-10

Hi,

I've just purchased an Ensoniq ASR-10. I want to sample CD's rather than vinyl. But not sure if this is possible?

Hooking up a turntable is straight forward. I'm guessing to sample CD's you need to connect a CD player into the digital I/O?

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

It would be the same as the turntable. You could use the digital I/O if you wanted

There should be a SCSI interface on the back of it that allows you to connect a CD rom drive to it aswell

analog outputs from cd player (usually RCA male) to analog inputs on ASR-10. you probably need an adapter cable from radio shack. I think the inputs on ASR's are 1/4 ".
