Which one would be better if working with computer based sequencer?

my vote is for the sonniccell....I think its a no brainer.

XV-5050 has USB also.

( I personally don't care about the audio interface)

Soniccell has a superb integeration via VST/AU plugin - For computerbased production a great selling point, i think.

IMHO I think the patches in the soniccell are cleaner and more versatile than the XV-5050. With my setup, the audio interface was not important. But if I wanted to record a live show, I could bring my laptop and I am good to go with the soniccell. :) :)

does sonic cell have those old famous Roland sounds like "12-string guitar" "fantasia" etc...

I watched few videos, SonicCell sounds like an arranger-keyboard sounds, most patches exactly like va series, e-series auto-arrangers...

does xv-5050 comes with an editor?

is it possible to use XV editor with Roland xv-3080, or is the editor only for xv5050, 5080, 2020 ?

i just ordered a soniccell, the fact it integrates itself with a DAW is what did it for me since most of my production is computer based.
