Rocbattle Shutting Down/Selling

Got an insider tip that the Rocbattle website is losing revenue and getting out of the game. Actually I have had a few producer friends bail out quick before the ship completely sinks. Hope the new owners don't just buy the site to gain access to the customer info database and move on.

I personally got out and got on euphonybeats.com and did my own marketing. Never looked back. So just a heads up folks. I guess in the end, its about getting your personal store on your OWN website.

Never ever put all your faith and business on a website that is not your own because next thing you know the site could just shut down.
 
very wise words, dont lay all your eggs in one basket as the saying goes. Especially not on a website you dont own. I agree, the best thing to do is have your own site.
 
Thanks for the tip man. I thought this website was doing bad. They still haven't even got the site straight yet, there's bugs and even the forums aren't up

They should have left Rocbattle like it was at 3.0. They just ****ed up something that was good.

This is why you do not rely on other sites when selling your tracks. All that hardwork... going down the ****ing drain.

It's funny that they've been in since 06 and only a PR3 and no control over analytics... that site with those members should be worth WAY more than 40k, that's almost a ****ing steal
 
Probably the market sucks for industrialized computer beats...like whose going to actually pay for those.

Now if it's "art"..that might be a different story. I'd rather have them come to my website anyway
 
Rocbattle didn't wind up selling. At $40,200 the reserve amount had not been reached.
