Take a jab at it, just set the bpm of your DAW to 91 Bpm, turn on the metronome and slide the vocals around until Snoop sounds on beat... make a beat.

... the hook on this one made it hard to work with... I'm ripping that hook out on the next one I do, lol.

Dog, i need that bark real bad... where'd u find that one. thwe ones i got sound either too fake or a small breed

^ Yo supreem, I really liked the drums on that joint, They weren't overly complex but still had a good bounce to them n I'm a sucker for open hats. I was noddin when the beat dropped and snoop started rappin. The bass guitar was cool, though pretty muddy. I was iffy on the melodic route you chose to go on the track, I couldn't decide if the melody was ok or slightly cheesy, but thats just me. I was just a lil thrown off when the bass guitar kicked in, cuz I was expecting a different melody. You should swap out that piano for sure tho, it was really plastic sounding.

Appreciate the feedback. I'll do some tweekin. Did it sound better mix wise since it was uploaded through bandcamp...did it make a difference compared to the battle beat uploaded in zshare?

It probably does make a difference since bandcamp uses Wav files, but a barely noticeable one. I wouldn't go through all that extra trouble exporting a wav file just to squeeze a tad bit more quality from a track. You really should be just fine with high bitrate mp3s just for showcase sake.

If u aint feelin Zshare, then try a different service, like Divshare or something, works fine for me

I got it from SoundSnap.com...

I plead the 5th on how I got it though...

It was high pitched until I turned the pitch down and stuck some reverb on it. (didn't put no swing on the drums either... smh). I'll post a link to that bark this evening.

I'm going to take another stab at tonight... after everybody crashes out. I plan on not going the conventional "make something that works" route.

Can't wait to hear 'em all. Friday! I get to breathe this evening.

What will work faster, playing every lotto game in this state or trying to get rich off of music? I want to wear pajama pants and make beats all day but it doesn't look like that's in sight...
