Registering/Copyrighting your NAME .. . !?!?! How to copyright dj 'such n such'

Hi quick question, I guess this belongs in Newbies because it is a really basic question, but can someone please tell me how much it costs to get your Dj name registered and copyrighted? also how you got about it? Thanks
 
you can not copyright a name: never have been able to do that unlikely to be able do that in the future

you can, however, trademark a name - that is how the big companies with identifiable names do it

as with most things thought the steps to doing so depends on the laws where you live
