It's just like the REDRUM in REASON 3.0...

check it out.

no sh!t...!!!! it sure is!!!! I could look at it and operate it on the spot... i like that chain feature which lets you chain patterns instead of having to click them to play....But maybe I'm just being lazy....I'm just looking at it anyway, don't need to really try it...

God what were they thinking with that color combination? makes me wanna puke just lookin at it.

there was another one that looked more like the redrum or similar to it i forget what it was called though

You can change the color scheme supposedly....

... my computer is too old and slow to actually use it...

It's free so it goes good with the copy of REAPER that I have on my thumbdrive on my keychain... you never know when you might have to get busy.

It could be used for more than just drums though... I always load samples into the REDRUM... whenever I get the urge to sample...

I'll probably buy REAPER on payday... I have a guilty conscience...

yeah, i downloaded it and tried it out, really nice, but kills my cpu! unfortunantly i wont be able to use it

^Yeah over at kvr several people are reporting this too.
For me it works fantastic, but it seems to have problems with some systems for whatever reason?

Hey biggrome do you ever post at the Reaper forums?
If so tell Justin to put groove quantize in that thing already lol.
I've requested it, but not too many others chime in.
I bet if a few of us get the ball rolling over there, Justin might implement that lil' feature. :)

does it matter for different sequencers maybe? i doubt it, but it could be a possibility

Hmmm...So far I tried it in Tracktion, and Luna without problems.
I need to test a few more.
FL has good vsti support too, so I doubt it's on that end, but I'll try it on my system with fl too.

let us know if you find anything different...im going to try with cubase, but doesnt work too well with fl

Ok reporting back about the cpu.
In FL running my new Athlon64 3500+ with 512mb.
Just opening Tatapoum 4 uses 30% cpu, and spikes to about 45% when playing a 3 part rythem from my controller.
Similar results were observed in Luna, but I did'nt notice it at first since only uses a meter bar for cpu readings, whithout numbers.

Interestingly in Tracktion the cpu only spikes for about 1/2 second, and then drops to 0% cpu!
Tatapoum also loads faster in Tracktion than Luna, and FL Studio.
Playing a 3 part rythem bumps it up to around 20% cpu(esimate).

Edit:
Getting about the same results in Reaper, and also Phrazor that I did in Tracktion.
So perhaps FL just does'nt like that plugin?

Tried this before.

Two things I didn't like about it:

1. The atrocious color scheme gave me a headache.
2. The sound of the samples is altered when loaded into TaTaPoum. Try loading a sample into any other sampler then into TaTaPoum and compare.

Too bad. It was a good idea.
