Recording on Master is ok, but recording on other channels is mute

I'm trying to mess with FPC in FL studio a bit. Maybe that's a noob question, but I can't get it - when I try to record something on the master channel, it records ok. But when I try to record on any other channel, the recorded track is mute. What am I doing wrong?

Im not really sure what you mean, are you talking about mixer channels? how are you trying to record onto a mixer channel? do you just mean recording on a track assigned to that mixer channel? You may be getting your terms mixed up. In any case make sure your mute buttons arent clicked, green is unmuted, grey is muted.
