Recording in Ableton Live - Session View

So, I've figured out how to record audio from my mic/audio interface into the arrangement view (the manual and lessons really helped ).
However, it would be super awesome if I could record new audio directly into session view. This way I could really quickly record ideas.

I saw a guitarist on youtube do this and use it as a sort of looping tool by triggering different parts that he recorded on the fly. Does anyone know how to do this? Recording into session view?

It's no different from recording into Arrangement, really. You just hit the the record button on a clip

Just remember to arm the track for recording (same place as arming for midi input on midi tracks)
