im trying to find a way to turn certain instruments of my choice to sound fonts that way i can use in fl 10 how do i go about doing this

so i want have to keep using rewire everytime.

I have reason 5 an over 50gigs of refills an i use Fl 10

HELP PLZZZZ:berzerk::berzerk:

ikno u cant but is there a way that you can turn a certain instrument into a soundfont or some way you can get a instrument out of reason so you can use in fl without having to rewire

^ not easily, no.

Google "refill unpacker", which will let you extract the .wavs from the refills, you'll then have to use another program to repack those .wavs into soundfonts.

But just doing this ONCE will take you a hell of a long time... let alone 50 gigs.

My advice would be to either find replacement sounds (in either existing soundfonts, vsts, etc.) or just get used to using rewire.

idnt wanna get all 50gigs into sound fonts i just want certain sounds out of certain refill packs..

do you know the name of the program that i will have to use to turn the files into soundfonts?....

I haven't personally used it tho... so don't ask me how good it is.

I still think you're going to quickly learn that this is way more trouble than its worth, but best of luck

i think i might just stick with rewire but i still have an issue wen i rewire i only can use up to a certain amount of instruments..how do i increase it?

you cant, your only allowed 16 instruments MAX output when rewired.

I know what you mean, Reason takes those channels up by default so in reality you only have about 7 or 8 channels left. I think you can route your devices directly to the reason interface, then open a midi channel in FL and send each instrument to the corresponding channel. idk see if that works, i remember doing something like that before

I dont really get what the picture you posted is supposed to depict (probably because I dont use FL), but in Reason if you click the "more audio" button on the "hardware interface", you should be able to get up to 32 stereo outs for rewire.

the easiest thing to do is rewire from fl 10....open fl insert a rewire track..click reason..an a few other steps but ull figure it out..that u can use reason an all of its sounds as a vsti in fl10...thats wat i use to do
