Anyone Know The Layout For A Typical Cumbia Or Moombahton Beat? How Would I Arrange It In Ableton Live In The Drum Rack?

I don't believe I've ever heard the genre, but wouldn't you just listen to a few and note the arrangements, then toss that data into live?

Just drag your samples into the midi drum rack in the order you like, then create a midi clip and start drawing. You can also drag the audio into an audio track and arrange it that way as well.

Listen to a song for reference...if you can't even reverse engineer the sections of the song you aren't going to be able to put one together bro.

As far as I'm concerned, moombahton draws it's structure from Reggaeton. So listen to some Don Omar, or Daddy Yankee and start from there.

moombahton is reggae although the sounds are different, more synth usage.
