I vaguelly heard of ms pinky. But i as many people who owned FS 1.1, was a pure nightmare. I had what stanton said was a defective sound card and they wanted me to rma it. It took them well over a month to return my e-mails and tell me that. IMO, stanton sux as a company, and with customer support. If you remember, stanton had a final scratch user forum, but after many complaints on the board they've decided to close it down. That's the worst thing they could do. Instead of fixing the problems, and addressing the customers, they tryed to avoid and ignore them all together. Rane's SSL is simply better b/c on their boards they address the issues and have programmers, engineers that are willing to give support. Plus SSL's soundcard is built like a tank, software is very stable, and unlike Stanton, they don't charge $50 for every major bug fix they release.
FInal CRash 2.0= hype, and resource hog
Serato Scratch live= solid h/w and software, and among the best tech support out there
