Question about rap music.

[FONT=&quot]My friend once told me that one of the most useful ways of learning English is to listen to rap. Problem is I'm not a fan of this genre. I prefer more melodic music. That's my question: are there any rap artists which music could fit for newbie and whose lyrics is not too difficult for non native speaker.
