Protools $49

Ok so I was looking at a thread and saw Pro Tools M-Powered Essential.SO I looks it up and see it for $49 dollars!?!?!?!? Is this the real price how can I get this pro tools for 49 dollars when some can easily spends up to 10,000 in a studio worth of protools things?What all do I need to make that work?

Pro Tools Essentials is very very limited. No third party plugin support. You are really much better off purchasing the full version of M-Powered.

Pro Tools Essentials features:
16 stereo/mono audio tracks
8 Instrument Tracks
8 MIDI Tracks
3 effect insert slots per track for up to 3 simultaneous effects
busses for group mixes/effect sends and Aux Tracks for effect returns. Just like on a real mixer
2 audio inputs / 2 audio outputs
