The reverb is kong is dope but I prefer to use it with tom drums and a few claps my main reverb is rv7000 do cats realize that record and reason is giving its user 3 seperate reverbs, 4 different types of eqs, 4 different compressors, and like 7 different types of filters, delays, pitch correction, 2 different time stretches for audio and midi clips, new pattern based sequencing for quicker song arrangment, cv control, a new multiloop player, 4 different samplers, 3 different synths, remote feature for automatic setup with midi controllers, live sampling, comp tool, vocoder, regroove mixer for amazing grooves and swings, explode function (most slept on feature) 3 different mixers ( 14:3, line mixer, ssl mixer). Audio merger, cv merger, a arp, matrix tool, combinator to combine everything I just name, a limiter and stereo widner, all of that with no hiccups and amazing stability, like serious what more could a person ask for when it comes to making music. Cats are spoiled these days.

Man what you just posted put me in tears man, that is so dang on sweet I don't know what to do lol  HOld up my dude, you said "3 DIFFERENT REVERBS?" I know the RV7000 and I seen that one on Kong, you mean to tell me there's another one?

Yo rockin Toms in my music is hot, I love putthing those in there, especially my HipHop and RnB tracks. Man you got me drooling right now dammmmmmmmmmm!
You and I talked about the explode I love that feature that is the bomb right there!
Yes I thought about the 2 different type of time stretches they gave us, the one where you can stretch the whole track just by hitting the tempo button for up or down, and the one you take a clip and stretch it the length of say your drum pattern, you just hit command I believe and pull it with the mouse, that is off the chain! IT'S A WRAP!
You get two stereo widners yep, one in the MClass suite which I use a lot, and the one on the SSL board and that joint works just like the SSL 9000k

I can't wait to hook up my Avalon and my Nuemann mic to the 003Rack and record lyrics inside of Record!
What you said is true, we just need the editing with a couple of things and it's a wrap! Trust me I can do a lot with that, and it's on. Thanks alot for the list that puts in the faces what we really have, and should be thankful.

2010 really is a good year for electronic music production.
it's hard though...being literally FLOODED w/ so many tools...each w/ specific strong points.
our tools burden us w/ pushing the limits...
why is pushing limits so rejected in music, but so accepted in other forms of art?
does all art have to "conform" in one way or another for it to be "marketable"?
or should artists create w/ their own creative interest in mind? manifesting art that may be completely foreign to listeners / observers??? (therefore jeopardizing the PROFITABILITY of said art in question)
ARTISTICALLY / CREATIVELY...IS MUSIC BEING "HELD BACK" DUE TO "GIVING THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT"?
I agree with you, this Reason/Record thing is going to push us further. I never thought I would do Urban/Euro/Dance music myself, there is a huge market for that, for TV/Films/Games etc.
I feel on the holding the art back thing. See Major companies and those higher excecutives love to follow a trend to be in a safe place instead of looking into the art and going solo. Most of them just sit behend the desk and wait on the A&R. They don't want to take chances.
Now the best way to get your individual art out is
1. Get with an independent label that believes in your art
2. DO IT YOUR GOT DERN SELF! Don't depend on others and Record/Reason puts us right in the drivers seat to do that, we have the tools. You can make up your track, get it mastered, give it to your contacts, hit the clubs or whatever and bam! Trust me you make enough noise those majors will come hunting after you. It's been like this for a while now, and you call the shots.
Trust me I just turned down a publishing company because they want exclusive rights, and I told my attorney no, I don't work under exclusive rights unless they are planning to give me a HUGE sum of money and if not, ta ta! So I am dealing and looking into a couple of more
