OctoRex....nothing special !!
Open up 8 Dr. Rex and a mixer and make a combinator out of it !.

I could open up one Dr OctoRex without opening 8? I like the one better.

You suffer from a severe case of gear lust, so in essence, you brought this on yourself!!!:):):):):):):):)

No, KB you got Reason Lust, Mr Gibbs is a Reason/Record whore, and I am a Record slut lol get it right man and don't be leaving yourself out of the dam picture kapesh? lol

Like I said before, they should improve every..........

Let me say this again so that everyone understands where I'm coming from.

They should upgrade EVERY module in Reason!!!!!!

More parameters for all the effects.
Anti aliasing for all the synths.
More filter modes for all the samplers.

There is room for improvement across the boards. Dr. Octorex is a step in the right direction, but I hope this is only the beginning.

Ok you caught me.:confused::mad::mad::mad:

I'll take the Record/Reason 5 two for one red light special for $150.

The upgrade to Reason 4 from Reason 3 was almost the same price. Why wouldn't I take it????
exactly u get so much for that $150. You get Reason 5 for free, Record 1.0 and Record 1.5 for free if you do this I am jumping on it lol

im positive the improvements will get better every video. they wouldnt put the first major difference first!

but on the real they are about to snatch people from other places, and I kid you not they add midi out, FORGET IT! They are about to embark on a ish load of cash!

Yo man, you can do 8 loops at once, heck you can make up a whole track just using Dr.OctoRex alone! Put up two with 16 tracks and it's a wrap! Omnisphere has this and RMX, but this is like totally off the freakin chain!

you will understand once you get your hands on it and i will not be doing my 9 to 5 to day the official release drops.

I am waiting for my hard drive to get here for my Hollywood strings, Yall aint going to see me for a minute when that get here.

I can't wait...I haven't been this excited for an upgrade in a long time. I have the Reason/Record Duo AND I'm bout to be on summer break from school, so I can come home from work and get it in EVERY DAY!!! I am so very excited right now.

Octorex would impress me if it could read .wav and aif loops the same way FL Slicer could. But then they would be able to sell ReCycle, lol. Goes back to my prior post of being more excited if the revamped Recycle to do more.

Now I'll just have 8 slots I never use in a new instrument. Maybe the NNXT will get the same type makeover.

That's the update I want the most too, and I want it to work similar to something like Izotope's phatmatik, if they do that then propellerhead will really get me to start considering upgrading.

Well if one gets Record you can import multi tracks into it, so having Reason/Record is the bomb. Plus you can import wav and aiff.

The issue isn't so much as importing the wavs, its the issue of being able to easily slice and stretch it.

hmmmm...what's with the happy singing chelemasty ?

Yeah, isn't it obvious?LOL I've been doing that in the earlier pages. Or maybe I'm sending a message...NOT!

So where do you wanna slice in NNXT? I mean Record does stretching.

Where? I dont care, as long as you can slice within the device, just have it expand down to expose a wav form editor or something, if they do it Im sure they have a good UI for it. Also I'm talking about timestretching the individual slices. Can you even timestretch individual clips in record? when I tested it I don't remember being able to.
