20-30 beats a day ? c'mon son. I'm not a hater or anything...much success to lex but the day got 24 hours...you need 6 hours of sleep so you got 18 hours maybe even less (eating, etc.)...so basically he says he makes 1 beat in 1 hour. That's impossible. Maybe a quick 16 bar loop but not a whole beat.
It only takes about 15 mins for a skilled producer to finish a beat.

And i'm talking about running midi thru modules/keyboard/mpc.

Yeah but his music gets mixed and mastered by professionals.

ofcourse.

at industry level, every track is mix and mastered by pro's.

even the proffessional beatmakers shits get mastered by somebody else.

alot of his beats sound exactly alike (MC Hammer, BMF) hopefully this kid can become more diverse...he is talented

man i give credit when its due bmf is all i hear through the the 757 he 19 and got 1 up on me so congrats to him hopefully he can work with more artist in our area , even the big homie bink! gave him props

The bottom line is dude is making moves instead of sittin on 30 beats talking trash on a forum

im happy for the dude...but at least shout out the producers who's sound kits you used(hence Johnny Juliano, Vybe Beatz, Superstar O)...His sound is not original, but the way he puts his sound together is...I hate when producers dont give the proper recognition to the ppl who deserve it...But i wish him nothin but the best in his success cuz he got where he wanted already

Okay, great! This young cat is doin numbers now! He's working with BIG artists, and everyone respects him, is happy for him etc...

HIS BEATS ARE MEDIOCRE. Are you f*ckin serious? Go to his myspace page and check them out - yeah some go PRETTY DAMN hard, but I hear doper beats cruisin Soundclick, for real. Nothin special about this dude, just worked the networking game better than most, and is slowly climbing to the top.

Shawty Redd does (or did, before Luger framed him so he could jack his spot) the same thing, ONLY WAY BETTER. Compare "Who Dat" or "J.E.E.Z.Y." to "BMF" or "MC HAMMER" and you'll see what I'm talkin about.

This is one of the reasons I barely come here anymore, too much "D riding" because someone's gettin $$$. Great. Doesn't make his beats sound any better.

BTW, I'm not hating on Luger - if anything, he's doin what he's doin and making profit, so good for him. I just don't understand what y'all see in him.

lex made it now he got second rank producers hating on him.....get ya grind up...

which one of his songs use the chopped vocal sample??
young diessel is right! I'm 30 years old and im a musician. I think that the producers of today are not up to speed on the true craft of it all. If you have some crazy 808 snares and sub bass, with brass, you have the hot ish! What about studying theory, and composing real works? Some of them don't even know what a gmajor/minor chord is. Or a diminished 5th. It disturbing, but i can move with the times so im all the way up to speed
