Naw I'm guessing he had a lot of beats he had already made in the stash and was send 20-30 of those.

No offense to dude, his beats go, but if you listen to enough of them you realize they all follow the same formula to the point it's not hard to beleive he can make 20-30 of those within a 24hr. period.

Nothing intricate enough to be time consuming in his tracks. Again, not knocking him, his shyt go hard, but if some other producers were to say the same thing with all the breakdowns and bridges they have in songs, I'd be a little more skeptical.

man i wouldnt be able to do that formula thing i usually try to do something different on every track

yeah i think I misunderstood the article...he didn't say he would make 20-30 beats a day...he would send that amount to an artist

Even with a formula like he has I think you still need some time to tweek sound XY here and kickdrum there

Oh that's right, folk on FP that think producers do the tweaking. lol. :cheers:

Not saying he doesn't, i don't know his process. Just know it's not that hard to make beats like he does by the boatload. Not talking style wise, that's what makes him hot, that's imbedded in him. I just mean beats with one looping melody, same synth sweep, same drums, and a choped vocal sample that bounces in and out the song. No bridge, no chorus, no outro, it just goes until it fades out. On to the next beat.

I think "producers" of today don't grasp it because we tend to think things are more technical that they are(Or maybe you guys have just never used FL?). He has a hot style that people like, I love his tracks personally, but don't convince yourself this is even close to intricately produced music. It's 1-4 bar loops on repeat for a 4 minute song.

I had never really heard dudes stuff and people are right... his sound is a loop type of sound.

I'll bet MONEY that you can crank out 40 of those LIGHTS OUT beats a day with this...

I have it and within 2 - 3 minutes... you have something that sound technically "perfect".

I have never made a song with it though... just wanted to have and mess around with it. Joint is pretty awesome, watch that vid on the page.

I make my own patterns with it though, I don't use theirs... (use any vsti with it...)

Same thing i was thinkin, lol. He makes simple bass heavy joints that all follow a similar pattern. Assuming he's not mixing them himself, it's pretty conceivable that he could do that many beats in a day.

He aways throws in one, if you can't hear it your deaf.

It's one in BMF that sounds like a girl saying "maestro"

The "lights out" in the fab joint posted.

And all the "yeahs, heys and whooos" in between.
