Hey this is a good website!

Anyone know what happened to Prodigy lately? Are they going to release a new album soon?

Thank you

DJtaos

This site sure is good!!!

Yo Tao,

as far as I know the prodigy is going back underground, and i heart they were not planning to make any new albums:-(
that sucks like hell....
well i hope they will be making more in the future....until then i will be enjoying Liam howlett's "dirty chambersessions"

Cyborg.....

Thanks for the info Cyborg. I understand them... They were becoming pop stars... and they are not like Oasis and all these egos.. they do music.

And yeah, this site is very good. I think I came in every single day last week hehe :). I only hope they will add more articles and mix and stuff.

hope they will release some new **** in the future...
But now i can still play my old records from them, like the lords of jericho! hehe very cool!!!

keep up the good work!!!

hey! well in the mean time u can listen to my tunes!
I remember the prodidgy from the old skool days,
liam writes the most kikin breaks!

did u know he used roland workstation samplers for most of his work? I cant remember what there called, though I think ronnie size used to use one too......

hey fluxtah, liam didnt use only one sampler, or any other machine, i believe he was using a lot of them(as any big name producer will) the only two machins i know for sure he was usinr are the old school classic e-mu sp1200 drum sampler and the roland jp8000(this is prob the station u ment), which has some phat sounds in it. im sure that like many other rave producers of that time he was also using thigs like the 303, 808 and 909(all from roland)

liam was told to be working on some new stuff, but u wont c any soon cause he spends most of his tim playing his playstation( this is also the reason for the delay of 'fat of the land's releas). he also told off madonna when she asked him to work on her last album

maxim did a crap album, and the other members are told to b working on their own projects.

from what i have heared over the net liam now works solo or with other people, the prodigy as we know it may no longer exist

also,
went to see them on tour two years ago, liam was standing behind a LOT of machines doing absolutly NOTHING!!!
it looked like he was playing from a DAT cause it sounded the same as in the albums but with no vocals, really sucked.

RIP

I hope I don't offend anyone, but in my humble opinion, The Prodigy we all knew, you know, the Prodigy that gave us tracks like "Hell Fire" and "Jericho", DIED as soon as they let Keith Flint deficate all over the micraphone. (Too bad, really, they helped pioneer the secene as we know it. And for that, I'll thank them.:) Don't get me wrong, I still love the first albums as much as I ever did. I just strongly believe that rapping doesn't belong in a techno track. Oh well, we'll always have Jiltted Generation. :)

i heard liam is in the studio, mostly with keith, making new stuff for the album. record label would have wanted to album be ready months ago, but liam don't want to rush things.

i agree that their older albums are the best, but keith really kickz azz in the Firestarter and Breathe.

peace!

Prodigy in Brasil

hi everyone,

i saw prodigy play here in brasil in their last tour and what i saw wasnt what i was expecting. i thought i´d hear some great techno stuff that they used to do, insted what they played was like a "greatest hits" album, or a "fat of the land live". almost like playback.

i agree that prodigy is dead, at least as we knew.

to be honest with you i think that some of their greatest tunes were the instrumental ones. really didnt liked the way the vocals fitted in, with a few exceptions.

see ya,

andreas rauh
