Preference questions about soon to be first audio interface purchase

Hey everybody, if you could help me out a little or just give a little input that would be just great!


Ive been trying to do my best as far as research on an audio interface im going to purchase. im solely going to be recording vocals through logic or just any lower end "DAW".

Ive come up with a few ideas, but would greatly appreciate some input

1. focusrite scarlett 2i2 usb audio interface, or

2. presonus audiobox 22vsl usb

as far as me just purchasing an interface on a serious budget, and just record for fun, but also take it seriously amongst ourselves, what would you prefer, and why? I tend to lean towards one, then the other.

I've been asking the same question! I have to say there pretty similar with some differences. The 2i2 doesn't come with midi in/out if your interested in that. But if your simply going to record vocals than it really doesn't matter which interface you get. You can always return your product. I'd say go with the Presonus and tell me what you think about it!
