i'm stuck with a midi keyboard, a sampler and some random speakers as well as my beats studio headphones (which suck for producing). that's some very impressive stuff here.

how are you liking recording live drums ive always wanted to myself just havnt had the cash to mic up my kit and get a decent interface ect.

Its great, even the recorded samples I made sound awesome. Got my bass drum to sound like an 808, gonna post some samples up soon. I use 2 sm57s for the top and bottom of the snare, with some e604s for the toms, a beta 52 for the kick, and Octava mk-012s for the OHs. The trick is to be very obsessive with tuning drums, and getting double braced hardware and good heads. Even cheap drums can sound like a million dollars. I would also recommend using light or medium light cymbals, with balanced tonal characteristics so they sound good in any key without having to transpose every hit in melodyne or something similar.
 
I have a real thing about nice looking monitors. Some of the ones posted look gorgeous.

showing a picture would be embarrassing , 1 laptop 1 mic some cheap mixer :( , hopefully I'll get some money in future to upgrade my shit :D
 
dang some crazy studio.. I just have a laptop and a mouse and thats it for now lol(and a broken mpc 1000 that I'm saving up money for repairing..sigh)

Great Setup you have jp. HD25's still the best monitor headphones around IMO.

Hd25 best all around headphones. i have been deejaying with those about 6years. Looks bad, sounds great .
