My setup is no where near as loaded as Rees but it gets the job done. I gets busy. Tho I am debating on going back to all Reason/Sonar because it makes things easier but I love the workflow on my hardware plus I want the extra space. But if I cant find a dope controller for Reason to control it like I control my EPS I wont do it either. Anyway I have Sonar Home Studio 7, Reason 4, an Ensoniq EPS classic, A roland alpha juno 2, a roland Xp 30, a Korg Tr rack, a BCF 2000, a korg m3r, a akai s3000 (im tryin to sell it), a pair of Krk rokit 5s.

thanks this is an old shot from last christmas. I have updated slightly but nothing really major. I got a new desk (i moved and didnt feel like hauling that one upstairs its stupid heavy), on a desktop now because I wanted to run dual monitors. Other than that I am planning to upgrade my audio interface because I want more inputs but its pretty much all the same hardware Ive had from before.

...the axiom is a dope controller..but the set up is a b*&%$......ive heard the axiom pro eliminates the set up issue so ur just left with a dope controller.....check it out

I had a yamaha mixer years ago but it got stolen out of my truck lol. Whats funny about that story is its the day that I was at guitar center buying my bcf 2000. Ive had it for 4 years and love it. I have been using it as a midi interface for about a year now (i didnt realise i could until a year ago) and its the best midi interface I have ever used. Once I get a bigger analog mixer or an audio interface in there tho I plan to find a motif classic rack.

I was actually looking into the axiom lol. The reason I went hardware was because I couldn't control reason just from my controllers. I think that the axiom eliminates some of those issues plus the ability to edit the remote parameters in Reason 4. Then again I am also debating on just using both my hardware and my software in Sonar because I really do like my hardware modules but also really like Reason.

Xabition hows Sonar? I'm thinking about buying it to use with Reason 4 and using it for vocals

Producer and Studio are mad buggy and rarely get completed. I think Cakewalk is changing this trend with Sonar 8.5 they did a half version so that they wouldn't have to rush 9 i hear. Sonar is packed full of great features tho. I personally use Home Studio 7 non xl because I don't need the things like vsts, the added fx ect. So my version runs great and its the perfect companion for Reason 4. I don't have most of the plug ins you get with Producer which sucks but its stable as hell, easy to use, and gets the job done for me. I'd recommend it for Reason if you don't want Record.

Casey, are you in the last issue of Producer's Edge mag? I swear that looks like your studio and the guy calls it "Sherrell Studios." What up wit dat?

I entered to win that MoPhat too. Like you need anymore gear!

Yeah that's me. I thought you already knew about that? Yeah, what happened is I entered to win the Mopho and won it (thanks Producers Edge!), which is really freaky because I never win anything, seriously!

I got the Mopho a few weeks later and then Drew Spence sent me an e-mail saying he wanted to have a feature in Producers Edge about the contest and my Studio and what not? It was pretty cool!

Funny thing is, I use that Mopho more than any other synth in my setup, so it really helped me out, even though I know I have a lot of gear already! Sorry L!

Here is the link to the Mag if anyone is interested? the article starts on page #9:

Hey ONE, how do you work the site which the mag is on? Can you find other issues or other music magazines? I live in canada so subscribtion prices are usually really over priced, makes me sad lol.[/QUOTE]

Just go to www.producersedgemagazine.com and you will find a few of the back issues. Its a free online magazine, but they do have a subscription where subscribers get bonus content and other goodies! I subscribe and think its worth it, but the mag is awesome for free if that's all you want or need?
