Spoiled? I'm 29 years old and got mine from 11 years in the Army being deployed to F'd up places! Don't go and act like my mommy bought mine like some of these cats up here! I did it all on my own!

Why you always got something to say?
lol @ u gettin mad. You can spoil yourself too. Anyway it was a joke.

I ain't mad! Just wanted it known, that's all and I was joking about the something to say comment too!

Take care!

YoungJBoy - Yeah it's a bit tight and I just got back (deployed) so I am in the middle of rearranging it, when I took the pic! I post one for the after pic when it's done! My space is real small and tough to place things!

But no I'm not in the barracks anymore! Thank God!

This is my set up here. The photo stitch is a little crazy, but whatever. I can honestly say I love waking up in this room everyday. Nothing like making a new joint in your drawers. You gotta click on it to make it larger.

Yeah, here's the funny thing about what you just said! I was going to just finish my 20 as an NCO, but when I got back from Iraq the first time, I was going back to Ft. Lewis to teach a course and my old Ranger Captain, who was then a LTC, got on me about doing the "Green to Gold" program, and I told him that my wife would kill me if I got deployed again, and I would have had to if I did the G to G program, so he had me fill out a Direct Commission Packet and a few months later I had a Board and got that ish! I couldn't believe it! So it sometimes falls in your lap you know?

Take Care!

Yeah, I think about it sometimes still. I am in the AF and we don't have direct commisioning or warrant. RIght now, it is extremely tough to cross because they are already downsizing. I don't think I am up from Blue to Green and all the 18 month deployments.:o

My temporary setup is in my porch

Currently I am set up in my 4 season porch because the bedroom I had setup for rehearsal/recording was being used as the staging area for my baby's bedroom construction project. This is what I've got. Tight Budget and I don't have everything set up right now. Roland VS2000 with Video/mouse card, Roland MV8000, Roland Fantom Keyboard, Roland DS50 Monitors, Korg Micro-X Synth, MAC G4 with Ableton and Reason 4, Digitech Vocalist Effects Processor, Peavey Prowler all tube Elec. Guitar amp, Gretsch drum set and Tama drum set, numerous audix, Shure and SE Electronics Microphones. Plus more.

I'm a noob on this board so I can't post images yet.

The following is my new setup which arrived 9/28/08. Im swaping out the Motif XS rack and PLG boards for a Korg M3-M (ill save $20.89!!). My dumbass thought the xs rack took the PLG boards, but apparently Yamaha took it out. Bloody IDIOTS!

Im keeping everything in boxes until my workstation arrives (next week). I purchased an Onstage WS8700. It holds both a 88 keykeyboard and a 61/76 keyboard, monitors, PC/mac, and has a 5 space rackmount. only $380

I have a prophet 08 rack in the box on the far right. I haven't taken it out yet.

i love reading this thread, but it kinda pisses me off...everyone talking about how they didnt pay for **** or their setup is soo bad

Well, i'm 18, my setup consists of an mpc 1000 i bought used for $550, and i want to buy a micro x, some monitors, a yamaha usb mixer and logic express...then my setup would be perfect, but for right now, considering i only have one thing and a pair of headphones...its great

Wassap Man, I read your post and laughed because you said "then my setup would be perfect" Ahhhh how many times have I said that, lol. Truth is the more you want , the more you need, or think you need. I've invested about 15- 18 grand into my studio and I still think I NEED more. Be careful because this can become an expensive hobby if you are not making money with this. We humans are never satisfied, but good luck I hope you get everything you want then remember this and laugh.

That's some nice equipment. Can't wait to see it all setup.

I'm still working on finding room for my stuff. I need a bigger place.
