That's alot of stuff John Smooth. I'd like to hear what you cooking up in that lab

Most of my recent stuff isn't on CD yet. I have everything saved on disks. Plus I'm still teaching myself this motif. Its a monster to learn. I'll get it all together soon though and post some music. I actually have some music posted on my MYSPACE page. Look for JohnSmoothMusic. I'd appreciate any feedback.

Peace

Thanx man

Right now I'm using Cubase SE for audio Sequencing and FL8 for midi and making tracks. But as soon as my next check comes in, Im upgrading to Cubase Studio 4....

My 3 primary instruments are drums, bass, and keys. And im learning the guitar right now.

You got a nice setup yourself!....how do you like those yamaha's? I was thinking getting those or a pair of Rp 6's...

Thanks man, I've gotta tell you I think my speakers are my favorite out of my whole setup. I'm in love with all my speakers, they sound so good in here. But let me tell you the true test. Before I got them I use to take my tracks down to my boy's home studio where a bunch of us producers would critique each other's beats. My stuff never knocked as hard so nobody really felt my ****. I got that black face"its cool." but I knew. Long story short, got my money up, spent about 1400.00 on all of my speakers(I thought I was gonna pass out because of the price) but when I heard them I haven't regretted the purchase since. And when we listen to beats now, Mine stand out because you can hear all the little nuances. So yeah, I like em!

PS Where are you from?

hey, how do yall connect the cables for the headphones and the mics from the vocal booth into your interface? how do you get the cables from inside the vocal booth the outside without making a large hole;p

There is gonna be a hole. The question is where, and how to cloak it. Think about the firewall on a automobile where wires pass through, the holes are there but hidden, and grommets are used so that fumes/road noise do not enter into the cabin. Now take that and apply it to your project. Take the shortest route though, make it easy on installation and future additions/adjustments.
