Did you have Sonar or Reason first? Do you record vocals? Is Squito female or does she just have a female in the avatar? Can you have a keyboard and an MPD hooked up in Reason at once?
 
lol idk if that really matters or not but Reason. I do record vocals but i prefer to take people to studios who are better equipped for vocals than my own. Squito is male and u can have is many controllers hooked up to reason as u like. I have had up to 5 with 0 issues.
 
speaking if synths. is a korg Radias something yall would recommend? does it have a gang of presets and cool customizing ability? it looks cool and i like electronic type beats too . ow does this compare to something like "Vanguard" ?
 
I've never used Vaguard but I have spent sometime with the Radius and I do like it. I didn't bother to check for presets I was too busy turning knobs trying to make sounds. I will say that I prefered the m3 to it but I didn't spend enough time with it to say I know the machine

why would you take pride in your ignorance and post about it, if you had looked in to it you would have found several other differences that are very relevant to audio work, and since u dont care i will return the favor.

if it aint broke why fix it? i simply don't care for this "upgrade" I don't make music with my eyes.

wtf were u just trying to say lol. Either way a new monitor isn't going to make or break my music. Niggas have been making music with just their ears for years I look at myself as being fortunate especially because I don't use the computer for much of anything

Sorry these pics are old and I have since gotten rid of the mpc and am using primarily fl now. I still have everything else I use it live at church. I'll post the picks to my new studio as soon as I'm finished...hopefully in the next week or 2, just need to do acoustics!

well i guess to save this thread from more ignorant babble i will enlighten you. Crt monitors use a hell of allot more energy than lcd's. they also use a method of high powered projection to put the colors that you see on the screen. now we all know that seeping e.m.f. (electro magnetic frequencies) can leak from a power cable to a audio cable and cause hum. this e.m.f. is severely overlooked in western culture, but in eastern culture and variously all over the globe every one recognizes this as some thing we should LIMIT. so if you have a crt you are GUARANTEED TO GET FATIGUED FASTER THAN WITH A LCD. so "niggas been makin music with there ears blah blah blah" has absolutely nothing to do with what i am talking about. if you look at my setup i make my music pretty much entirely with my ears so its just entertaining that you where trying to 'lay that down'. you are quite the serious little beat maker arent you. this is science, nothing to do with "niggas makin music".

do you feel better now? I still don't care thats the part that I believe u missed out of all of this. It works for me thats all that matters. I know the science behind it but at the end of the day its not very high on my list of priorities. Why this angers you? I am not sure.
But if it makes you feel any better you can bet that I won't be changing the monitor anytime soon. I have sat in front of this monitor for 10 to 12 hours at a time making music in Reason with no eye fatigue whatsoever. I have done it multiple times and I still have 20/20 vision. Either way u need to stop worrying about what others are doing and get your own sh*t done my nigga. It ain't that serious for u to get mad about. And I typed that while watching that same CRT screen u r b*tching about

Idk if I'd call it an arguement. He threw out insults to a person who didn't know he existed before he did. Then got mad kuz I didn't care about what he had to say. He still doesn't matter. I assume that this is giving him self worth.

i never cared about you and your monitor, some people where debating the difference, i dropped 2 main ones and out of no where some smart ass beat maker suddenly thinks im directing my comments towards him so he has to let every one he is so special that his **** dont stink and his methods are perfect, when all i was trying to do put out some knowledge for some people who might be looking to get the most out of there setup not see how much they can deal with by the end of the day. from here im done because my motives where honest but since some ignorant people are to busy with the stick up there ass to let people with facts try and help.:D

if u never cared why did u comment on the subject of my monitor. The comments were made about my setup nobody asked for your input. You came in the thread talking down to people. At the end of the day it shouldn't matter. So since you don't care stop wasting my time.
 
I have a CRT. I think it'll last way longer than an lcd. Cuz they got them lcds at school and they got like blurry fingerprint spots on em n ****. Cant do that to a crt:monkey:
