So how's your home made filter ? Could you teach me how to make it ? Please. And what's the name of that clamp that holds the foam, could you just buy that in your local guitar center alone ? Peace !!!

The filter works great. It is easy to build. In my case I took the thinest peg board I could find and cut it into 2 squares and attached them together with hinges. Then I glued foam to that (I will eventually replace the foam with condensed fiber glass wrapped in cloth).
I didn't buy a clamp, I made a holder using pvc pipe and 3 pvc fittings (2 -90 degree elbows and 1 -4way tee) that I painted black. They fit together to look like a short/stubby NFL goalpost. The uprights put pressure on the back at the ends and the mic stand's boom puts pressure on the inside where it's hinged. That pretty much holds it in place on the holder.
The holder is just slipped onto the stand (through the 4way tee). And, at the appropriate height on the stand I wrapped the stand with the furry part of velcro. The creates a pressure hold. It's pretty secure and stable, I have no fears of it falling over at all.
Maybe I should make detailed plans with diagrams and sell the plans for $2.00 a download or something...

how much did u really save by making a pop filter vs paying the $30 at guitar center and just taking it with you?

Saved about $25 on the pop filter Besides I just like making stuff... But I did save about $285 on the reflection filter vs buying the one from Real Traps.
What do you mean by "just taking it with me"? Leaving the store with it after buying it?

Yeah, to make a pop filter that looks good will cost you about a few bucks, so you may be better off just buying it. I had stuff laying around the house, so it really only cost me about $5 to make. But the reflection filter was really easy to make and well worth it, especially if you don't have a booth.

I got a new mixer The Xenyx 802 by behringer and I really like it. I got a Roland Xp30 another synth that I really like. I think I may be done hardware synths for a while. I got a good shot of my Shure white label needle. I love that thing. Of course my beloved but for now retired MPD16 all of my floppies with my sounds for my cd3000i some vinyl and my new recording space I moved 3 weekends ago. Enjoy.
