Some new pics of the lab with the new gear, the mixer i needed for its spectrum analyzer (because my room is untreated) and it has a reeeeealy nice virtual patch bay for all my rack gear and sampling. moved the desk in an attempt at better monitor placement. new slip mats and keyboard stand so its not such a reach for every thing at my desk

Went out and got myself a birthday present yesterday. Just need to program all the controllers, i found an M-Audio Enigma user group hopefully that helps.

thats quite a cross over, how do you like mixing via software. I have been thinking about getting a sound card for my mac book pro so i can get celemony..... that looks like the ****!! for sampling, i cant even imagine being able to get any sound out of any source. why is your mpc not on the desk? nice diggs:cheers:

wtf does he have a triton and a midi controller for. ditch that pos m audio bs and control everything from the triton and mpc. wtf is wrong with u
 
Why are you guys always so negative? Let him know that it's nt a good idea to put it there. Earlier in this post, somebody saw pictures of my setup and suggested that I move my monitors, but he wasn't like, "Eww your monitor positioning is so tacky." First of all you sound like a 16 year old high school girl (and for all I know you might be). Second, why can't you just suggest to him that it may not be a good idea? Why do you have to be a jerk about it? Seriously. Answer that question. I dunno, at this point I am starting to believe you can't be a producer without being a giant gaping a**hole.

All I said was it is awkward and unstable, if that makes me an ******* jerk so be it.
 
Ya I was being serious I liked that because I can relate I had a small space to amd had my midi conroller on top of one monitor andmy laptop on the otherone...
 
In all fairness, you actually were not a jerk but Xabiton used the phrases, "looks tacky," and, "wtf is wrong with you." That's pretty rude. Awkward and unstable speaks to functionality. Xabiton just drilled the guy. If he doesn't know then those who do know should teach him, not chide him for not knowing.
