I see alot of great setups..Hey, I notice that some people have a few cartoon figures, ornaments, or simple conversation pieces if you will next to thier equipment..Is there a reason for this?HHmm..Maybe I need to get some GI Joes and place them around my Monitors... :) Since I'm in the Army..LOL..

My apologies..about the stool, I was referring to MimikOctopus's set up..:)

Hey, I got that same chair, and that same mixing engineers handbook, and... that's where the similarities end. :(

LOL @ noble. this isn't my studio (let alone my chair)...the owner and i met middle of last year, and he signed me to a contract to work on beats for the hiphop division they'll be forming. this room is where all the magic happens!

quit hatin on the mans dust. he should be too busy makin money to dust his chair

Statistics show producers with clean chairs consistently make better music.

Look at Dr Dre's chair, SOB is pristine. Its leather and you can see through that *****.

thats kuz he has the latin broad to clean it. he bangs her afterwards and its the vagina fluid that ends up on his mixing board that makes his basslines extra juicy. Extra juicy = Bigger Hit.

My studio

I just started in December of '07 I think I have made a few heaters too. Here is my setup

ASR-X sampler/drum machine, Zoom MRS-4b recorder, Yamaha PSR-E403 keyboard. I am using my surround sound DVD player as monitor speakers and I haven't quite figured out where a pro audio software fits into my setup just yet.

Ok, apparently I haven't been a member long enough to post images so if you go to photo bucket dot com, you can view my photo under the same username lmntholden. There is only one photo there and it is of my studio

Im just curious....I was thinking one was for recording and the other for production task. But I really dont know, I just use one computer monitor but I only have one program.

Here is an update. First picture was few weeks ago, but than I decided that I need a spectrum analizer/internet in the middle. My Main computer isn't connected to the net at all, but the other one is - the monitor in the middle is for net, and stuff.

Man, nice setup. As others have advised watch those liquids. I ruin a Trigger Finger like that.
