at first it was just a normal computer desk i got from a furniture store....i buyed it at a time when i even didn't even think of producing music....
those monitor stands you see are custom built by me....cant buy that ****....lol
so i would suggest to buy a normal big azz desk and then customize/modify it by your needs

And I have been able to throw in alot of plug ins and a relatively large track count in a Pro Tools session with no problem. Definitely recommend getting one if you aren't going to make a jump for the G5.
