Thanx Phantom1.....

lanlan, the CDP is very descent for its money, including the stand as well. The feel of the keys is very good. A bit strange sounding though in the beginning but after you get used to it, it doesn't matter. Some friends of mine who are pro pianists found the keyboard feel very good.

The sounds are just 5 and of good quality. But they sound great if you connect the CDP to an external audio system or active monitors.

In conclusion i'd say that it's a bargain for its price and for what it offers. I think it can fit nicely in a living room without any doubt, and with its own stand looks quite elegant.

youngjboy: I would so much like to play on such an electronic drumset. Using the pads as midi-controllers must be just so much fun to play with. ^^

here's my humble setup:

Fluffz is the one who runs all this. I just pet him from time to time to make sure I'll get a piece of the pie once he makes it big in the industry. lol

I know they are not the cream of the crop, but they sound ok to me. At least better as the tannoy reveal I could compare them to as I bought them. And a lot more detailed than any regular stereo speaker I had so far.

if you could....would u have gone with somethin else that was for the same price?

At the time I bought them? (about 2 years ago) Nope. They were the best passive monitors I could get for what I paid IMHO.

I'm not up-to-date with what's out today. But they still do sound good.

^DUDE!!!! I GOT THE MRS-1608 TOOOOOOOOOOOOOO how u like it???

LOL ,Man.....I love it!!1 It's a really complete little unit. I like the fact that it will control everything in my studio so when it comes time to record I can do it all from the 1608 ,everything syncs perfectly!!! Although I dosen't offer as many options as say pro-tools it does the job just great for me.

How about you, how do you feel about it??

I think I have that exact same Epi LP hanging on the wall in another room...

Your probably right. It does what I need it to do for now. Down the road I'll probably upgrade to the 2000.00$ Pro tools package....untill then the MRS 1608 will have to do.

Cool setup upright....but where do ya sit ya keyboard when ya wanna play it???
