^^^How do you mix with the monitors facing you when playing the keyboard only?

Im not sure that he was thinking about that. clearly his current setup favors composing more so than mixing

Xabiton hit the nail on the head. I compose and only create rough mixes for my music. My mixes are not great, seeing as how I am no mixing engineer, but I simply try to get the best mix possible to allow people to listen without getting a headache. xD

That isn't a bad thing is it? :-P

My lil setup:

Compaq Presario CQ60
FL 9 XXL
Adobe Audition
MAudio BX5a
Behringer 3 channel mixer (forgot name)

Pretty decent setup you have there, Jay. However, it reminds me all too much of my old space -- not a lot of storage and such. :-P But as long as it gets the job done!

--- I forgot to add my equipment list, so here it is:

PC (Win7 Ultimate x86, 2.3GHz Dual Core CPU, 3GB DDR2 RAM, nVidia GeForce 8400GS PCI-e x16)
2-20" LCD Widescreen Monitors
Pair of KRK RP5 Studio Monitors
M-Audio Keystation 61es

FL 9 XXL
Cubase 3 SX

AKG Perception 100
M-Audio AudioBuddy Mic. Pre.
M-Audio Delta 1010LT PCI Audio Interface

Fender Starcaster Electric Guitar
Marshall MD100 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar

(:

Xabiton, how much is the fix on the MPC? How much would you sell it for broken? Don't act like you wouldn't

@binary_10essee naw I got no space for storage at all. I share this space with my lil brother's toys all over the place. And when I'm at school I got even less space.

@dxsnipe yea these monitors are pretty awesome, if I do say so myself lmao

Im not sure how much it is thats why I havent fixed it. I have been procrastinating on fixing it (shit over a year lol) but I am keeping it because I do plan to fix it most likely when I get my taxes back. I don't want it to cost more than I paid for the mpc which is my fear lol
