Oustanding setup!!
What kind of light arc is that?
I've been looking all over for something like that.
 
well i have to say that my dad get a bit mad about the light as it's still F##### expensive.

This optical fiber, it means that there is only source of light (on the back ) and then each optical fiber will be a kind of miror.

the goood point is that if i put a transluside red color plastic between the light and the mirror, the color will switch to red...

if you want the exact reference, I can try to find something but you better wait few months as I'm sure the price will go down as fast as the people will discover that. (Imagine that in your house, you can switch the color of all your light for a specific room...)

I would be very interested in more specs and references on these lights. Sounds like something I would like to add to my setup.
 
F*cking awesome rig, that. Very NYC! Do you use that Vestax isolator a lot? I have one myself but I think it degrades the sound so much that I never bother to hook it up anymore.

Works great. I have the digi midi 1x2, midi sport 4x4, a korg midi thru box, and two roland a-880 midi patchbays. The digi and the midisport are linked to that, as well as all the other rack gear and whatnot. Then the thru box has midi devies ran along the wall to the other side of the room where I have all my little table tops and groove boxes, and drum machines so I can route out to them or which a quick flip of a cable I can send out from them.

So you have the midisport 4x4 on the same computer as the digi002?
 
yeah...no problems. I'm also networked up between two other computers...also no problems. Despite what digi might say. Also a Usb mouse...again no problem. Eh...myabe I'm lucky.

Or maybe it's just a stable system design on xp pro.
 
If I get some pictures taken of my stuff would there be anyone that would host it. I am going to either get another mkg5 or a smak 30 but probally won't be in picture yet.

Well I'm more concern about the EFX 500 because it really affect the sound.
Regarding the vestax, I plugin in the send/return effect and not to much degradation of the sound can be heard (But It's at home and I only run a nad ampli + 2 jmlab nmedium sized + jmlab sub)
I agree with u that the sound could be degrade on a large system but not that much. I have friend with Urei and bozak and they do run also a vestax in it without any concern...
One of the best crossover on the market are the one made by dopereal.com but they are F*cking expensive (1000$) or there is also a guy in france who made a urei clone with dj deep as well as a crossover with dimitri from paris that may be intersting to check out (http://www.electronique-spectacle.com/djcustom.htm)

I'm living between the switzerland and france. I'm mixing since 10 years now but lastly not to much out as my "other" job took me all the time. Also nyc house (I enjoy french stuff as well : gregory, deep, solveig, troublemen, greg gautier...) is not so easy to play as people are looking for harder music in here. So I'm glad to have this show coz I can really mix some smooth music and it's a perfect media. I would say , for here, my music is more adapted to a bar or small club but unfortunately, sound quality are not knew over there so organic, vocal house, jazzy house with a bad sound will not have the same effect on people.

I just picked one up, used, 80 bucks. It works just fine.

toute la House que j'ai fait c'etait quand j'habitais a Montreal au Canada.

par-contre, comme projet perso je vais bientot recommancer a en produire bientot. j'ai eu besoin de temp pour m'ajuster aux gros changements dans ma vie (demenager an Nouvell Zelande, travailler en digital au lieu d'avec des synthe et echantillonneurs....) tout en ayant a travailler sur la musique pour laquelle on me paye ;)

mais sans aucun doute, j'aurai de la House beintot. mon afinitee c'est la Dirty House alors attention... je fias aussi parti d'un crew du nom de Dirty-House-Lovers en NZ ici et nous organisons des evenements a tous les trimestres de type grosse boite, plusieures salles, une plile de DJ et qui roule de 22h a Midi... plustot cool.

if i actually did post that in english you'd just be bored reading it. ;) i was just telling him that i had taken a break from making house music and recently decided to get back into it for my personal enjoyment.
 
Here is mine... taken before a gig at a local bar. This is most of it, but there are a lot of toys that I leave at home for small gigs.
