Its a Pioneer CMX 3000 Cd Player. Pioneer also make a DJM 3000 mixer that is like a buddy for it (Ive seen both at a dudes house in a flight case style box and they appear to be a single unit at first glance).

Let's see....lot's of questions here. The mixers are an SK-1, decent build, sound quality is poor. It's just there for when we're sessioning. It feels almost dead on an 06 with an Alps fader. I picked it up from Guitar Center for something like $30. The 05 is just a Limited Red Edition, not the Q-Bert. One of my friends had some laminates made up of the Beedle and I slapped one on my mixer about three years ago and it hasn't moved since. It's kind of a good luck thing. I slapped a P&G fader in my 05 about a year ago and it's been butter ever since. It's the only reason why I can't bring myself to replace the mixer. I just can't justify getting a different mixer when mine still has such a sweet feel to it.

The rack unit is something I got from work. I'm guessing you weren't asking about the CD player, just the rack itself, right.
It's just a standard 19" equipment rack. It's meant for permanant installs so it's definitely not traveling with me anywhere soon. I come across them from time to time.
I'll let you know next time I get my hands on one. I can usually let them go pretty cheap when I find 'em.

i like your rack. it looks like those made for the audio market with threads in the holes so that you can mount any piece easily.

unlike mine, which is a computer-room rack made to hold servers and requires mounting hardware to be inserted on the inside before you can install anything. a real pain the ass but it was free :D

yup it's made for transmission and audio gear.....anything
with rackmount ears can be shoved into the thing or it can be shelved just like where my reciever is.
next piece of equipment up is a multi-tracker and i'm done for a while with equipment untill I get a few tracks out. it's time to start putting all that practice to work........

no worries Jubei ;)

thanks SoEasy! i like the industrial look. i have no need to move my equipment around either. although i don't have much rack mountable equipment right now, it would be nice to get a decent setup. send me a PM if/when you get a hold of any more. - jeff h

You got a lot of equipment, man. haha

I just noticed you have a digi002rack as well. How do you like it? How do you have all your MIDI equipment hooked up to it? Do you have a seperate MIDI interface?

After 10 years, I finally integrate all the elements and I'm so glad my father build me this custom console.

Now that's HOUSE!

I'm still trying to find out a solution to be able to select the channel I want to affect to the pioneer EFX box so if anyone got idea? but I have also to say that this baby degrade a lot the whole sound so i'm still thinking about

Also one thing really cool on this console is that the light are made of optical fiber so it's mean it stay cold even if you did a 12h marathon mixes :)
