Orchestral / Film music

Hey guys - I'm new to this forum, so please excuse if I don't follow decorum

I would love some feedback. ESP. of my mix quality. Be brutal. In general I feel am having trouble with depth & 'punchyness,' particularly of my orchestral mixes. Here's one of my more recent cues for that Hans remix contest...

* I can't post links yet - but you can find the track "Bleeding Amphonics" under my RamonReyesMusic account on soundcloud.

My suspected downfalls in this mix:

1) Drum punch/placement (esp. during full parts)

2) I'm not sure I think about producing reverb from the right philosophy..

3) Should I realistically be able to achieve a killer sound with the limitations of ONLY East West Gold mid-mic positions (for my orchestral samples)?

While I am aware I need better sounds, close and far mic positions, & more libraries to layer/switch out, etc, this is my limitation for now.
