Thanks. Yeah didn't really learn anything from Icy besides that most of the people I looked up to last year aren't really that special at all lol. He's a dope producer though
 
Don't take this personally but they're pretty boring. I'm not saying they are 'bad', they just don't keep my attention at all (from the ones that I listened to).
 
this is my kind of beats i like to listen to, very chill and smooth, and you obviously have your own style its not just generic shit. congratulations on getting up there man, keep expanding.

I have to agree with him, even though the beats are produced nicely, and it sounds good, but nothing really keeps your attention.

Well i gotta agree too about the boring part , there's a lot of samples , and i kept on skipping every 30 sec.
nothing to say on the mix , but your beats , doesn't keep my attention
 
The Vibe of your beats its extremly nice. They sounds really smooth and chilled and I have to admit that I really like your style!
 
But I have to admit that some people not liking this kind of beats would say its boring

I gotta agree with this. Anyone not feeling your stuff just doesn't like good music and can't make proper beats. Any opinion different than your own is just some odd combination of being a hater or ignorance. I mean, you sell beats for $20 on Soundclick so clearly you're the authority on what's good and what's bad when it comes to music.

criticism is more often then not a good thing and usually true, you got 5-6 people saying they are alittle boring...cause they are boring, its something you should work on instead of saying people cant make proper beats! they are boring! room is needed for the artist to make a beat, so to judge a beat by self itself can be foolish sure, but these are plain, its more like artist take this plain beat and make a hot track then artist heres a hot beat with room for you to kill it, its expecting to much of the artist, your not a top soundclick producer.. j/s and your beats arent bad, but no, we all know how to make proper beats so you don't gotta get mad, what they are saying is true, best of luck to you and remember to take criticism not get mad about it
 
They aren't boring. Sure they aren't going to get people's bootys shaking in the club, but these aren't club beats.

Each style of music has it's own feel, otherwise everything would sound the same, no? The feel/vibe these beats intend to give (i.e. chilled/laid back) achieve this very well. The beats in my opinion are really good, and the mixing is on point.

Lol you are entitled to your opinion. And I am entitled to mine. I know for a fact that changing up the beat every few bars does not work. I agree that beats made to be artist friendly are not as interesting as a beat with all those change ups, but the reason I make beats is so that artists can make songs on them, not for people to listen to the beat alone. Where can I hear your beats?

Late Nights is cool, I could hear drake doin something over that.

2nd beats piano is kind of boring, but I like the hook and the sample used that comes in periodically. Not bad.

3rd one is kind of wack. That sample is not hot imo.

4th Is this clams casino? Jk. I think I like this one the most so far, hopefully you get someone to rap over this. The mixing and bass are nice.

5th is just kind of bland. I could hear it working though with a nice singer over it.

6th IamAGod- this one needs a main melody. It has an ethereal feel but could use another melody over the top.
 
I checked out a couple of beats on your page and i like the sound and vibe of your tracks.

Some of the tracks do miss an element here and there IMHO but that leaves plenty of space for a good rapper to lay some vocals on there.

The tracks are mixed well, i hear you use a lot of stereo imaging thats cool, it gives the some of the tracks a nice airy sound. But don't go overboard with the stereo widening because all that sound could disappear on a smaller sound-system. But i don't think thats going to be an issue the way you got them right now. It's just something to keep in mind.
