I'd rather have a string of decent records in my lifetime then have one mega super hit worldwide.

Apex should be at the top of the list. I also believe 45 King had a one hit winder also(Hard Knock Life).

45 king is one of the godfathers of sampling, and was much more relevant 10-15 years ago and he had a bunch of beattapes outin the 90s
i think he did a big mixtape within the last year with a bunch of guys, i kno wale was on it
plus he did "stan" in 2000, but his style wouldnt fly today tho

i have heard about this aswell. but most of the dudes on the OPs list are sample based dudes who were stylized to the one cat they produced. since they are not versitle, they wont have many hits

Chase N. Cashe (Young Steff "Professional")

no offense to Chase, but that song isn't a hit. at least not yet.

just because some of these producers produced other songs doesn't mean they're not one hit wonder producers.

the defenition of a one hit wonder producer is one who produces a big hit and fails to ever have another placement that comes close to it.

yeah why these guys talking about they ain't one hit wonders cuz they get placements, lol. You know what a hit is?

The dude who did Wanksta for 50.
