I do too...

but the partnership between the two is not that bad also Tim has never had a true production partner until Danja, you might see more solo Tim tracks since Danja is doing more solo tracks they are only working together when artists request tim/danja tracks.

LOL dudes make it seem like a bad thing that Tim collabs with Danja and vice versa, trade ideas, build concepts songs and whatever they do.

Dudes forget that Jay Dee and Madlib collaborated.

Dudes sit around with calculators and trying to weight statistics to figure out how many times Danja touched the Neko than Timbo...all in a mad dash to rate another over another. and for WHAT?

There is no good reason.

Just enjoy the music.

You got a point there... There are a ton of head hunters out there that want to see the man on top fall. Me myself I could care less.... like I said ....the best songs come from more than one mind. Man I guess it's time we just enjoy the music ... but I'm standing firm on the "credit" issuse. ONe thing ...I know people lokking for is Originality ... Could that be the major case here

Does anyone know how to play Ride Or Die Chick on the strings?

Brian Kidd used to work with Timbaland. He did the beat for "Ride Or Die Chick" produced Slum Village's "Disco" Remix and co-produced Floetry's "Say Yes" Remix.

As well as:
Nappy Roots "Country Boyz" and "No Good" (listen to that sample should sound familiar)
Philly's Most Wanted "Dust Ya Boots"
Ruff Ryders "Dirrty"

Most recently he did "Get To Poppin" and "Hustla Balla Gangsta Mack" for Rich Boy and Enrique Iglesias "Do You Know" (Ping Pong Song)

The dude is a BEAST on the boards and highly underrated. Polow has shouted him out as one of his influences and he's currently managed by Zone 4. Don't sleep on Kidd...

Damn son you know your **** about my big homie lol. B.Kidd is one of my mentors.

Brian Kidd is the best beatmaker ever.

Man Get To Poppin' is insane....the drum programming is wooooooo

Get To Poppin

Man Get To Poppin is one of the most original and classic beats ever. This Beat should go down in history. The sample of "Por El Suelo". Man I'm Hispanic...So I've heard that song a ton of times. I just never thought to put it to a drum track... What Brian did putting that sample on there was innovative as hell. When I first heard it I thought it was Timbaland cause of the drums... But it wasn't ... After that it's one of the tightest beats ever made. After I found out it was Brian Kidd ...I could not find any info on him... just an old football dude with the same name. But he's real ...he's got a myspace and I can respect his idea of not putting a face to the music... that make him a mystery and makes people want to find out more bout him and his work. He did the Ping Pong Song ... I know his getting pay for that **** ... That Latin Pop money ... Money aside ... he's got mad talent and get to poppin is the tightest beat ... Top 5 in my book .

When you see "keyboards by scott storch" and "drums by mel man" and "written by jay-z" you start thinking what did dre actually do on the track..

Uh... Dre brought the whole project together u idiot!

You think puttin an engine, some carbon fibre and wheels into a room is automatically gonna produce a ferrari? U tit!

Dre is the architect, designer, project manager and boss aka THE PRODUCER when he works with a team of musicians.

The same goes for any other producer who brings people in or works with a team.

I hate the fact when a producer that worked with Tim blows up and has some good tracks that producer becomes the genius of such and such song. Danja and Hannon Lane are the ones he and his camp of artists work with the most. They must not be getting screwed over if they continue to with work him in today's age i guess a producer can't collaborate with another producer he has to produce it him self.

I'm telling you guys man, all this stuff is just to keep Hip-Hop divided. That's the goal.

So to pretend that the architect of your current hits is nothing more than a hired hand would be foul.

At the same time though, I can see tim's concept really coming to light now... I mean the stuff like Sexyback is cool beatwise, but you gotta realize that it's his CONCEPT and voice and writing on the track that really made it what it is.

That's one thing that tim has that makes him such a great producer -- *personality*. I don't care how good a beatmakes you are, Tim has some extra swagger and imagination (and maybe craziness) that leads to making HITS instead of just hot beats.

He may not compose every note of the tracks... But he is a great *producer* and he's great at coming up with a vision for a song and bringing it to life.

Tim is the type of guy that will be in the studio like "hey, you say this... and then I'll say this... then at this one part we'll put this kind of effect... then right here we should switch it up like this" and all of a sudden, it becomes a song and a fullblown concept instead of just a "track"/

A lot of you guys don't seem to understand with "producer* means.
