I like both of the samples they used, but I feel they shouldn't have mashed it up, to me it sounded like the beat was trying to be on some hardcore **** then yet goes to an "uplifting" state. If that makes sence LOL

This **** aint got nothing to do with the south cause Jada & French is both irrelevant far as mainstream goes. This **** wasn't even extra dope to the point that this thread is hyping it up to be, its just them talkin' bout NY with a hot beat & nice sample. Videos dope though. I give the song or 8 outta 10.

The reason why I said that the south might be in trouble is the fact that this song murks anything that came from the south this year. If you don't agree, you're in denial. And I'm from the south.
 
I miss the old DMX back in his it's dark and hell is hot days...hell I was even feeling And then there was x...his newer albums are pretty good as well, but nothing like the old stuff. Ruff Ryders Vol 2 was the ish as well Down bottom is a track I still bump til this day.
 
I wouldn't say its the best song this year but it is a good song that was well thought out.

I'm willing to bet it took more than 15 minutes to make this song......
