No signal from my ProFire 610

I just got a new desktop and just added a FireWire express card. I hooked up my ProFire 610 and I get no signal at all no audio. I use to use it on my old laptop before I updated it. It works fine with my laptop but no with my desktop. Everything is installed correctly my computer detected it right away but I get no signal. Can anyone help? I tried contacting support but they never back to me.

Also just tried my m-audio firewire audiophile an same situation
 
Yeah I don't see anything about a TI chipset so return that one and find one that is.
 
I was thinking about getting a Mbox mini or the ProFire 610. Problem is that I do not have firewire on my laptop. I do have a express slot on my laptop where I can a firewire card. So in order for it to work - I will need one that has a TI chipset?
