So I used to make hip hop beats from strictly vinyl sounds before I lost access to ableton for a few years. In this time, I've expanded as a person in countless ways (never left the country before to having traveled solo through a dozen places, etc) and my musical tastes have expanded as well. After day one of producing again it feels like making music for the first time without the learning curve, countless ideas are popping up that I would have never thought of before. I'm eager to learn more aspects of production so I was wondering if you guys could help point me towards some resources for starting off in electronic music. I want to tailor my repertoire to be able to sound something influenced by Electric Wire Hustle, Whilk and Misky, Kaytranada, Snakehips, Dam Funk, Guggenz to name a few.
