Shaudie

The Motha F*kin Show
What up fam! I'm here on FP to get some feedback on some of my beats and to most definetly improve my skills. I've been looking at some of the videos and listening to the other beats and I am very impressed at what I'm hearing. Hopefully I'll be on that level one day and better. So check out my beats and let me know what you think. Any feedback is welcome. Good feedback is inspiration and bad feedback is motivation.
Respect

sounds like u made it in fruityloops..idk u sound a lil like a beginner but hey we all goto start somewhere..the first beat was iffy n da second one has a filtered snare thats a lil too loud..try adding a lil rever on it too..but overall u aint too bad for a start. i was a whole lot worse but then again wit just 13 lol

Yo man I'm gonna be truthful. Your beat was pretty bad, but for a beginner it was alright. I can tell you tried a couple of chords in their, but the progressions was not that good to me. BTW i'm talking about the 1st beat. Fl Stock sounds are horrible. You may be able to use a couple of drums and stuff, but forget the synths. Spend a couple of hundreds on some VST's( hypersonic and sample tank are good and sonik synth). Keep it up and you get better in no time

i agree with vic beatz the first one there was alot of distortion in the beat the second was a lil betta u had some good ideas and they sounded good. I started in fruity loops and then made the trasition to reason and there is a huge difference between the stock sounds that come with the respective program. My advice is if your serious bout making your beats bump get reason take the time to learn it n ull notice to difference right away man. but working at this man

I actually like the way the second beat sounded. What sound did you use on it? It sounded like a mix of a tuba and trumpet. I liked it. If you add more to it like some strings maybe some synths and horns it'll be a tough beat. Keep it up. I think you have some skill that just needs more honing and practice. Like Vic Beatz said, I would recommend some vst's like Edirol Orhestral(amazing strings) and hypersonic.

Thanks alot for the feedback fellas, I really appreciate it. and your right I am completely a beginner and I did use Fl Studio. I gotta buy a new speaker sound system for my computer though lol. Mine is obviously garbage. I'm gonna keep at it though. Music gives me a feeling like no other.

Thank you, and it was a mix of tuba and trumpet. I got them from a pack I downloaded featuring some of "The Runners" sounds.
