I'm glad you're satisfied with your TT-2s. While it's a good turntable, no doubt, I've experienced the same problem with each of those TT2s I have tried so far (about 3 pairs, meaning 6 decks).
The tone arm has been very loose and poorly fitted, sending the tone arm virtually flying over the records. Nothing that couldn't be adjusted with a screw driver, but when it's had to be done on e v e r y single deck, something's weird. 3 of these decks had to be readjusted again after about 4 hours of use. I also noticed it to be more sensitive on those records that have some play and/or wear in the centre hole.
2 of these decks had definitive pitch stability problems, one was later deemed useless and replaced by the distributors.
While I definitely like the high torque, layout and features, there were so many quality errors on these decks that definitely scared me off from them.
