It's not too bad. Beat reminds me of Johnny Juliano cause of the talkbox

Idk, the hook instantly reminded me of 50 cent's 'Best Friend' and overall, it seems a little empty. Cole is starting to remind me of Drake more.

"Best friend" on the hook fa sho. Talkbox is mad generic and that kick is annoying imo. Overall, still alot better then what i hear when i happen to be driving and flick on the fm/sirius radio. I hope Cole doesnt end up being a disappointment, he is def my favorite radio worthy mc atm.

imo cole isnt destined to be on the radio. his music is too complex for radio. KRIT and Yelawolf are my fav radio artists right now.
 
this track is tough.... but its hard for cole to compete with big sean, krit, and cyhi because of being signed to roc nation imo
 
I honestly don't see what's so special about CyHi, but I'm not gonna divert the topic of this thread. So, anyway I think this cole joint is dope. People are overthinking it way too much! If it sounds good, it sounds good. He made it, people will enjoy it, and now hes moving on to bigger and better songs.
 
that zapp and roger sample is hella dope beat does sound empty tho. i hope j cole dont sell out on us. Sound like he tryna rap like kanye a lil bit if you ask me

since its been a while since i heard a laid back relax radio song, i have been cruisin with it on repeat. Its not the beast but not bad either. it gets a B- from me

No, it's definitely from Yeezy's New Workout Plan. The end of the song where the guy comes on talk box "kanye's workouuuttt plannn". Makes sense with the title too


...Here's to hoping the album is more J. Cole than this track :cheers:
 
I like the beat but I think J Cole's lyrics are falling off in this song...just my opinion...
